Artefact Chat Overview
Artefact  Chat focuses  on oral history and is informed by the Australian  Curriculum: History.
    
    Students explore the past with their ears by  listening to oral histories and become artefact detectives using online resources.
  
  
Australian Schools Foundation to Year 2 students learn about the heritage of their community. This online resource utilises the ACT Museums and Galleries website and the ACT Historic Places Mugga-Mugga, Calthorpes’ House and Lanyon, as case studies to focus on oral history and artefacts.
Lesson plans are available and Artefact Chat boxes containing touch-and-handle itemscan be loaned. Classes can also visit Mugga-Mugga, Calthorpes' House or Lanyon as part
of their learning.
